CEO

Thanks for considering Feed and Go, here is a little background on us if you are interested in the people and pups behind the product…

I’m Marissa McDaniel, CEO of Feed and Go, and I hope you will soon become very familiar with our brand and our product (and love it as much as we do!).  I moved to Los Angeles 6 years ago to swim for Pepperdine University and study Business.  Amidst swimming and studying, I fell in love with the city, the culture, and the dog community, especially when I met my soon to be husband and became a mom to his 2 Retrievers.  The family was recently made larger when we adopted another puppy. Apparently, we like chaos, and dogs, who we do refer to as “our children;” yes, we are those people.

Feed and Go came from necessity; the need for us keep the pups on a regular feeding schedule and to keep our sanity.  It also helped that we could regulate their diets to keep them happy and healthy.

With Feed and Go, we are able to feed Huntley, Gisele and Ava at the same time every day and control the size of each of their portions.  Portion control is important to us as Huntley, our 2-year-old Golden Retriever battles a bit of bulge around the middle.  Gisele, still a puppy, an 80 pound puppy, but a puppy none the less, needs food for a growing girl. Ava is the athlete who needs the optimum amount of food to keep her chasing her ball for hours, and out run any other dog on the beach. This is why we created the Dog Food Calculator to pass on our research to others.

Out of necessity, we have created a product that has also become somewhat of a luxury.   Imagine a Saturday morning.  You are lying in bed with your cat or dog, or 3, and the inevitable time rolls around and then comes the “look.”  The look that says, “Mom/Dad, I’m so very hungry and I know you’ll need to get out of bed and that coffee is only half done, but did I mention, IM HUNGRY?!”  Now, imagine, hearing the feeder go off in the other room, calling your hungry pet over to chow down while you stay put and finish that coffee while it’s still hot.   Need I say more?

The Feed and Go developers and the ever loyal test team that you’ll read more about below, have spent years perfecting our pet feeder.  Everything from the design of the feeder, the technology that connects you through whatever device you choose, to how your pet interacts with the feeder, and the ability to manage it from anywhere took a very long time to get just right.  Even testing the freshness of the food after it had been left in the feeder has not been over looked.  Now we are proud to offer you the chance to own a product that offers structure to your pet’s daily schedule, regulation of consumption to keep them healthy and content, and the opportunity for you to enjoy a little bit of help raising your best friend.

Lastly, as I hope you can tell, we are very excited about Feed and Go, and want to share it with as many people as possible, but we also want it to be the best product and experience as possible.  If there is any way we can improve your Feed and Go experience or if there’s anything you’d like to share with us, please contact me through the Contact Us page and I will be sure to get back to you.

Thanks again for stopping by and taking an interest, please do tell your friends about us so we can share Feed and Go with everyone.

Ava

Ava, a Chocolate Labrador heads up the test team at Feed and Go.s  When not burying her face in pet feeders, Ava can usually be found swimming or catching a ball/frisbee on the beach.

Huntley

Huntley is the sole male member of the test team. Huntley is a 2 year old Golden Retriever and since starring as one of the puppies in the Disney movie, Treasure Buddies, has now continued his quest for fame and glory with Feed and Go.

Gisele

Gisele is the newest member of the team. Gisele is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy and enjoys nothing more than terrorizing Ava and Huntley. Gisele loves to eat so she is perfect for the role as chief puppy tester. Interestingly, she is also the only dog of her breed that doesn’t think she can swim!
